(http://www.indusav.com/) manufactures the Thorp T 211 aircraft, leading the sport aviation industry in the United States, and driving the emergent light aircraft infrastructure in India and other countries. The international corporate headquarters is at 5681 Apollo Drive, Dallas Executive Airport in Dallas, Texas, USA.
IndUS was founded in 1994 by Ram Pattisapu, M.D., primarily to manufacture and sell aircraft in India and in other global markets. His unique business model utilizing hybrid US and international manufacturing with final assembly and flight testing in the US is setting new standards in the industry.
For seamless operations, IndUS acquired all production and licensing rights, related tooling, and an extensive inventory of parts. We utilize contractual arrangements with a major aircraft manufacturer in India, where we ship raw materials for processing and sub assembly fabrication. This company has comprehensive experience in all phases of light and medium aircraft construction. Final assembly is accomplished at our 22,000 square foot base facility and headquarters at the Dallas Executive Airport. Notably, our business practice ensures bidirectional sourcing, fostering the development of General Aviation, and the ability to scale production to meets the demands of such emerging markets as India and China.
