The Aircraft Partnership Association Joins Affordable Flying Center at AirVenture 2009

Association CEO Also Scheduled to Speak on Two Topics

July 2, 2009 (Dallas, TX) Today, the Aircraft Partnership Association (APA) announced that the Association will have a display in the Affordable Flying area within the Aviation Learning Center during EAA AirVenture 2009. Since sharing expenses is one of the best ways to lower the cost of owning and operating an aircraft, the Aircraft Partnership Association will be present to help aviators effectively find suitable partners with the same objectives.

“While the concept of finding partners to share and reduce the cost of ownership is not new, the challenge has always been turning a good idea into reality,” stated David A. Kruger, CEO of the Aircraft Partnership Association. Since the Association uses web-based technology and a secure, searchable database to match partners, there is finally an effective mechanism to identity potential aviators in your area that you may otherwise never meet.

“Membership in the Aircraft Partnership Association is currently free for individual members. The Association’s goal is to help keep aircraft owners flying longer by reducing costs and to help make the dream of aircraft ownership a reality for more aviators by lowering the barriers to entry – also primarily cost,” Kruger concluded.

The Aircraft Partnership Association already has nearly 4,000 members in the secure database, which the Association refers to as the Virtual Pilot Lounge™. All of the individual members in the Virtual Pilot Lounge are interested in sharing costs and finding suitable partners. Once new members complete their partnership profile, they can begin to search the database for suitable partners using a variety of search parameters including aircraft type, budget, proximity from home or airport and much more. Members can even choose to receive e-mail alerts when a new partner joins in their area.

The seminars will be interactive so any questions that arise can be answered by the expert.
