Lockwood engineers and staff have pursued an amphibious float system; redesigned engine mounts to accommodate turbocharged 115-hp Rotax 914 power plants plus updates for the latest 100-hp 912S engines; and, partial and full enclosures to better shield aft-seat occupants.

 

TrickAir Skis And The Legend Cub Give Pilots A Reason To Enjoy Wintertime Flying

SULPHUR SPRINGS, TEXAS, JANUARY 6, 2009 - American Legend Aircraft Company announced today the availability of TrickAir skis for its Legend Cub. The light-sport certified Legend Cub was approved for operation on TrickAir model 1500 skis in 2007. Now, TrickAir has obtained STC approval on its skis following extensive testing. Two models are TSO'd for a variety of aircraft including TrickAir's 1500 for the original Piper J3 and PA-11. These same skis are also available for use on kit-built planes including the Texas Sport CUB.
 

First Production Cessna SkyCatcher Completes First Flight
