Flight Design Registers First Two CTLS Aircraft in India

World's Best-Selling LSA Begins Training in World's Largest Democracy

Flight DesignLeinfelden-Echterdingen GERMANY / 18 November 2009  - Flight Design announced today that Carver Aviation - the biggest Flight School in India - has registered the first two of the world's best-selling Light-Sport Aircraft in India. Flight Design is now able to deliver the LSA aircraft to the opening Indian general aviation market. The CTLS aircraft will be used in flight training and will be sold by Carver Aviation.

South Woodstock, CONNECTICUT / July 23, 2009 — Flight Design USA has announced the appointment of  Flight Design West as the new western states distributor for the importer of the best-selling Light-Sport Aircraft, the Flight Design CT series. Flight Design West is based in Las Vegas, Nevada and is managed by its president, Scott Anderson. The distributor has teamed with two general aviation veterans to complete its service center and sales operations: Kenny Scherado, president of Lone Mountain Aviation will be in charge of the warranty, technical and assembly center and Mark Rogers, director of sales of Lone Mountain Aircraft Sales, will be in charge of enlisting dealers and flight training.

Teledyne Continental MotorsJuly 21, 2009 – (Mobile, AL) –Teledyne Continental Motors (TCM) today announced that it achieved a peak fuel economy of 30.7 miles per gallon in a Full Authority Digital Electronic Controlled (FADEC) piston engine aircraft. The fuel economy demonstration flight consisted of two legs of 339.3 nautical miles each.

The airplane (N74KG) was picked up at Lancaster Airports in Lititz, Pennsylvania by customer Kenneth D. Griffin of Southampton, New Jersey on Wednesday July 8th. This milestone delivery was announced today while Flight Design USA was displaying at the EAA Arlington fly in Washington.

6 Lithuanians Start 4000-Kilometer Circuit through 7 Countries

All six pilots belong to the Liekio Pilot Club, ALFA. The Baltic Flight 2009 will commemorate the Millennium of Lithuania and the 75th Anniversary of the famed ANBO pilots’ flight around Europe.
