SULPHUR SPRINGS, TEXAS, JULY 22, 2007 -- American Legend Aircraft Company announced today its plans for a customer fly-in to be held on Saturday, October 13, 2007, at the company’s headquarters on Sulphur Springs Municipal Airport (KSLR).

The focus of the fly-in event will be a celebration of the joy of flying the Legend Cub. The company’s first annual gathering of owners was held one year prior. Guests enjoyed East Texas hospitality and camaraderie among fans of recreational flying. Pilots and owners of a Legend Cub, or any aircraft, are invited to celebrate with company employees and guests at the second homecoming of the popular Legend Cub light-sport certified aircraft. Events throughout the day will include tours of the company’s facilities and discussions of ongoing developments and product enhancements. In addition, participants will be treated to an outdoor barbecue and demonstration flights along the airport’s grass strip. If last year’s event serves as an indicator, the smell of Texas barbecue will mingle with the bending of soft the green turf. As friends will chatter, so will the patter of pistons and aircraft performing touch-and-gos.
