9/25/2007 Yakima, WA - CubCrafters 3rd Annual Fall Open House this past Saturday was a fantastic day with owners, guests, business partners, and so many friends on hand for our special event in Yakima…and of course Cubs of every kind! Our third edition was surely our largest event yet and we will be talking about this past weekend for a long time to come.

More than 100 attendees joined us from Texas, Florida, Ohio, South Carolina, Missouri, California, Massachusetts, Colorado, Virginia, Canada and all the states surrounding Washington. We had vendor representatives from Alaskan Bushwheel, Teledyne Continental, Snowline, Oregon Aero, Aronson Campbell, and many others. Local Super Cub pilot Mike Olsen of Mike Olsen Dodge single-handedly shuttled guests to and from our airstrip in brand new cars. Doug Keller put on a show with Carbon Cub - very, very short takeoffs and landings - and Greg Miller of Bent prop Productions did the same in his Bushmaster. CubCrafters employees were especially proud to host some guests from the “other airplane maker” in Washington that were on hand admiring our factory and our workmanship. Altogether more than 50 aircraft, nearly all of them Cubs, flew literally hundreds of flights. By the time the last toast was made at dinner Saturday evening, no one could think of how to have more fun than we did.
