4/11/2008 Yakima, WA - CubCrafters is excited to announce the official launch of the “CUBCRAFTERS CERTIFIED FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR AFFILIATE PROGRAM”. In support of aviation as a whole and as part of the CCFIA Program, we wish to expose more pilots and non-pilots to the joy of tailwheel flying and more specifically, the fun and freedom of flying CubCrafters’ aircraft. Our network of training facilities is ready to assist you in the adventure of aviation.
Chairman Jim Richmond commented, “We are launching the program with 4 schools signed up, and we are looking for more all across the country. These training facilites will provide a student pilot, a pilot seeking a tailwheel endorsement, or a pilot looking for a fun way to get their next Flight Review the opportunity to do so in a new, state-of-the-art tailwheel aircraft with a well qualified instructor.”
Richmond concluded, “We have an opportunity to train both students and experienced pilots in the fine art of mastering the tailwheel and then enjoying the fruits of that skill. There are numerous places to go and adventures to go on that will only be available to today’s pilots in a tailwheel aircraft. If you want to get off the beaten path a bit, we would like to see you train in one of our aircraft.”
