Turns Over Keys to Zone Aviation at the Mid-East Regional Fly-in

5 Sep 07 -  Appointed as a Flight Design USA distributor in 2006, Hillsdale Aero (http://www.hillsdaleaero.com/index.aspx) recently delivered a CT to their new dealership, Zone Aviation.  According to Hillsdale Aero president James Scheibner, Zone will be the dealer for the state of Ohio.  Distributor Hillsdale Aero is based in Hillsdale, Michigan.  Hillsdale recently attended the MidEast Regional Flyin.

Abbreviated MERFI, the show is one of the EAA’s official regional flyin events serving the Midwestern states. It is normally held about three weeks after the EAA’s giant show in Oshkosh. James reported, “The show was very well attended and attracted many past or prospective customers. The inquiries we received for Flight Design aircraft were very good.”  At MERFI James met with and delivered to Zone Aviation their new Flight Design aircraft. “Our new dealer, Zone Aviation, took delivery of a new demonstrator aircraft, N40HA (serial # 060920).

James increased his level of enthusiasm after the MERFI event and following weeks of effort to land orders and dealers. He said, “It looks like things are finally kicking in. I have one deposit in hand for one of the CTs enroute to Hillsdale. And, I received a verbal commitment on the second one plus I have three more visitors coming in the next three days to examine the inventory I have, both new and used CTs.”
