Gobosh Aviation Introduces 800XP

Latest Offering in a Line of Luxury Sport Aircraft™

January 18, 2008 (Sebring, FL) Today, Gobosh Aviation unveiled a new Luxury Sport Aircraft™ before an enthusiastic crowd at the U.S. Sport Aviation Expo in Sebring, Florida.

The new aircraft, the 800XP represents the ultimate allcomposite Light Sport Aircraft and boasts the most modern features available in a sport aircraft.  The structural composite design is similar to that employed by the world’s most successful personal aircraft and commercial aircraft manufacturers and even the United States military. Structural composite means that the airframe itself provides the strength without the need for a supplemental metal frame beneath a composite skin. Additionally, the nature of a sleek allcomposite fuselage mated to highperformance laminar flow wing
results in an aerodynamically efficient, responsive and fast airframe.

The 800XP, represents a collaboration between Gobosh Aviation and the design efforts of Mirek & Petr Kabrt, the most productive and successful airframe designers in the LSA class. Other designs brought to fruition by the sibling team are already renowned for their popularity and quality. However the 800XP is the Kabrt Brother’s crowning achievement whose design and performance surpasses all previous work. In fact, the 800XP design is so efficient that Gobosh and their partners needed to find ways to limit the top speed to keep it under the 120 knot maximum limitation imposed by the FAA for Light Sport Aircraft.

The 800XP is skillfully manufactured in the Czech Republic for Gobosh Aviation by Aveko, a worldclass manufacturing conglomerate producing a variety of industrial and aerospace products ranging from servo motors, to composite subassemblies, to Unmanned Aerial Vehicles for the military.

Aside from being comfortable at the outer edges of the LSA speed envelope, the 800XP boasts two other features that give the new aircraft its’ racy XP designation. The “X” is a Gobosh designation for an allglass cockpit. In this case the Dynon EFISD100 (Electronic Flight Information System) supported by select Garmin components complete the technologically advanced feel of the 800XP. The “P” indicates that the airframe is equipped with a stateoftheart
airframe parachute system called GOSAFE ™ System (Gobosh Strategic Alternative For Emergencies ™).

Initially the 800XP is being offered in the Elite and Elite+ configurations that are also popular on the Gobosh 700S. Qualified pilots may use the 800XP Elite Edition capabilities to fly Day or Night VFR. The top of the line 800XP Elite+ Edition targets the discerning private owner by offering standard amenities including leather seats, Garmin 396 with XMWX capabilities, Bose headset jacks and much more. All Gobosh aircraft are backed by a 2 year/400 hour warranty that is the longest in its class.

Gobosh Aviation distributes Luxury Sport Aircraft™ designed specifically for the American Light Sport Aircraft market. Backed by the longest standard warranty in their class, Gobosh offers an ownership experience that is the envy of the market segment. To learn more about Gobosh Aviation, visit www.gobosh.aero.
