3/1/2008 - JIHLAVAN airplanes, s.r.o., manufacturer of the KP-5, has joined forces with SIMVISION, the well known manufacturer of Civil, Military and Transport flight simulators.

Together they have formed SkyLeader Aircraft. SkyLeader USA previously known as Kappa Aircraft is the importer for the SkyLeader Aircraft Company located in the Czech Republic. SkyLeader USA imports the KP-5 now known as the SkyLeader 500 SLSA to the U.S. through an ever expanding network of carefully chosen dealers and distributors.

SkyLeader Aircraft is committed to the continuous development and modernization of its line of aircraft with the support of the Institute of Aerospace Engineering at the Brno University of Technology in the Czech Republic. This commitment is visible with the new KP-5 now known as the SkyLeader 500. Some of the features of the SkyLeader 500 include increased pilot and co-pilot comfort with side by side seating, premium cushioned leather seating and wall to wall carpeting. Along with building the SkyLeader 500, SkyLeader Aircraft also produces components for Airbus and the environmentally friendly inter-citi aircraft ENFICA-FC European project. The SkyLeader series are marketed in countries such as South Africa, Taiwan, Czech Republic, Germany, France, Poland, Italy, Spain and the USA.
