Windshield Spray Bar Kit Now Available

February 10, 2008 (Redmond, OR) – Due to increased demand for Therm-X™ systems by aircraft owners who already have a propeller de-ice system, RDD announced the availability of separate airframe and propeller Therm-X™ systems.

The recently completed Lancair Legacy Therm-X™ airframe system now lists for just $13,395 with the Lancair ES at $13,995 followed up by the Lancair IV at $14,495. The Therm-X™ propeller de-ice will ring in at $2,500 for the Legacy and $3,500 for both the ES and IV series aircraft. With the new pricing structure and the upcoming development of Therm-X™ on other popular kit aircraft, RDD has effectively provided more options for customers to equip their aircraft with the latest in aircraft de-icing technology.

“It has been a common occurrence to have a customer call and inquire about utilizing Therm-X™ but that they already have propeller de-ice,” remarked David McRae, one of the RDD principals. “It was time to create a pricing structure amenable to meeting their needs.”  RDD exceeded those needs by also providing a windshield de-ice spray bar at the low price of $500.
