SportCruiser Quick-Build Kit Available

04-26-2007 - The SportCruiser is now available in a Quick-Build Kit for assembly under amateur-built or ELSA rules. The QBK is fully compliant with the FAA 51% experimental-class rule and already approved under a comparable evaluation in the UK and Switzerland.

The experimental class allows builders more flexibility in modifications or choice of engines but requires a normal pilots' license in most countries to fly. However, a sport pilot may still fly the experimental version of the SportCruiser as the aircraft still fits inside the LSA parameters provided the builder does not install a turbo-prop or solid-fueled rocket engine.

The QBK is coming to the USA this spring and 1st deliveries have already been made to UK customers.

CZAW also offers options such as pre-cut and wired 'plug & play' instrument panels, upholstery kits, and pre-assembled engine packages to further shorten the build time.
