SULPHUR SPRINGS, TEXAS, APRIL 2, 2008 -- Texas Sport Aircraft Company announced today the company is offering $2,000 in free options with the purchase of its Texas Sport aircraft kit. The Texas Sport is a kit derivative of the American Legend Cub and is intended for amateur aircraft builders. A variety of optional equipment is available to enhance the comfort, convenience, and safety of the aircraft.

Base price for the Texas Sport aircraft kit is $38,600 comprising four sections: Tail, Fuselage, Wing, and Firewall Forward. Each kit includes all the necessary components to fully complete that section down to every nut, washer, bolt, and cotter pin. The Texas Sport is one of the most complete aircraft kits available. Although each kit section is available separately, all four sections must be purchased to receive the $2,000 credit towards options. This offer expires at the close of Sun 'n Fun Fly-In on Sunday, April 13, 2008.

Texas Sport Aircraft Company designed its Cub kit with builders in mind. The Texas Sport kit is regarded as one of the most complete aircraft kits available. A company spokesman stated, "Having supervised the completion of, and having built more than one hundred similar aircraft, the company knows from experience the frustrations and potential delays that can arise during fabrication, and especially with amateur-built aircraft. We have worked diligently to illustrate, photograph, narrate, and itemize every component to ensure builders can work efficiently. Texas Sport kits are now in stock and ready for customer deliveries. For orders placed in advance of Sun 'n Fun, a limited number of customers can expect immediate delivery. The Texas Sport was introduced at Sun 'n Fun 2007. To date, three customers have completed their Texas Sport Cub kit. An additional eleven builders are at various stages of completion. A completed Texas Sport kit will be on display during Sun 'n Fun 2008 in Booth MD-10 on the flight line.
