USA Appoints National Sales Director

Ken Godin Hired to Manage New Sales Plans

20 August 2007 - Joining Team Flight Design USA is Ken Godin who takes the position of National Sales Director.
As the American importer makes changes to its sales methods, Flight Design USA welcomes a man
with Godin’s experience.

Ken worked with importer Tom Peghiny in the early Flightstar days. Mechanically talented, he was able to assemble a Flightstar from kit to flying in just 17 hours of intensive labor.  More recently Ken was Sales Manager for Leza-Lockwood (a company since reacquired by designer Phil Lockwood). In his role for Leza-Lockwood, Ken facilitated the sale of Air-Cam and Drifter kits.

Also an entrepreneur, Godin started ComposiClean to supply specialty cleaning goods to assist owners of composite airplanes as they care for their CTs and other aircraft. The products are so good that Flight Design CEO Matthias Betsch elected to provide a basic cleaning kit with the sale of every CT.

Today, ken’s attention is on the national sales effort for the market-leading CTsw (which commands 22% of the American market for Light-Sport Aircraft or LSA). He will also help distributor Flightstar Inc., with individual selling in the New England area. Ken is a likable, highly energetic advocate of the CT and a talented pilot. He and importer Tom Peghiny flew from the east coast to the giant Oshkosh airshow. They had to drive home though. Ken sold the CT at the event.
